When socialists in Europe have had enough of O’s crap, what does that tell you?
I think it’s already being done on April 15th but what’s happening then is a lot more comprehensive than merely protesting financial industry bailouts.
Just find a local tea party protest and join in. It’s pretty much that easy.
Since the government is using our tax dollars to support these financial institutions against our wishes, I think a protest on Tax Day will be more effective. There are already many Tax Day protests scheduled, find a Tea Party near you and join in.
The already established Tea Party events are mostly organized by conservatives, but I think the concerns they will address should be concerns of any citizen, regardless of party or philosophy. If you are concerned about overtaxing, the compromising of the Constitution and the far overreaching of government, attend a Tea party event. United we stand, divided we fall.

1. Looks like your participation is abysmal, indicative of a top down astroturfing from some of the nutroots intended to preempt what promises to be a very loud grassroots voice on the 15 which has significance as a date.
2. Your “New Way Forward” is completely opposite of what April 15th protest being organized around the Country in that your “New Way” is actually the Old Way, as in the old socialist way. Nationalizing the banks and more government intrusion into the free markets is exactly what we don’t need.
Get a clue and get yourself educated. Quit being whipped up and used by the same old tired nutroots.

I think we finally have a chance to come together here and fight against a common enemy. It appears that both a New Way Forward and the Tea Party movement have a common goal and rather than divide we should join together to effectuate “real change” not just speak of change and continuing the same thing of insuring that those with political clout receive “stimulus/bailouts” but to provide a better future for all Americans including those yet to be born!!!!! No party lines ever drawn will protect you from the meltdown. Find your local Tea Party and show up. United we stand. Lets show those handing out AND accepting this money they answer to us.

Phoenix’s Tea Party is non-partisan, pro-constitution. I know both Dems and Repubs who are joining me at the rally. Has nothing to do with party ideologies, just exercising our rights as unhappy taxpayers. For once both sides agree on something, take advantage of that fact!!

The cause sounds good, but I don’t understand why you would not just join the existing Tea Party movement. It seems odd to start something like this a few days out from the date when the National Tea Party movement already exists and has been gaining momentum for months and welcomes Liberty Loving Americans from all political affiliations.
I am involved in a Tea Party group in San Diego and it is completely non partisan. Unless you consider being against government lies and waste, or for upholding the constitution partisan?
Even though this “new way forward” movement is late to the game and will have less participants, I think it is a safe bet that they will probably get more media coverage…Why is that?
The “Tea Parties” are not right or left, Dem or rep, or anything that divides us. They are AMERICANS against Government bailouts, gross spending and massive taxation. Americans of all colors and stripes do not want the Government to bailout any business. Why protest JUST the bailouts? Join your fellow Americans at the Tea Parties! In Des Moines we are having a Tea Party on April 11th and the 15th, so if you can’t make the 15th go on the 11th. Both parties have been planned for many weeks now. Protest with the many not the few!

OH for pete’s sake — The tea parties on the 15th are NOT non-partisan, they are organized by a bunch of chicken little wingnuts who think the commies are coming to get them. They couldn’t be bothered to protest big government and wasteful spending when a republican was running the country, but suddenly can’t stand it now that we have a democrat for president. They spew non-partisan rhetoric out of one side of their mouth and then blame everything on Obama out of the other. Most of them have no idea why they’re so pissed, they’re just angry because the angry shouting man on the radio tells them they should be.

Both organizations have their merits, but they are both partisan. This one organized by Joe Trippi, and the Tea Parties are having Newt Gingrich, Glen Beck and Sean Hannity host/speak at them.
Perhaps a coalition should be built under the libertarian party? You know, that party that wants lower taxes and more freedom? Sounds like a match.

I’m going to take a couple of days off to go to the San Antonio Tea Party. Do a little shopping on the Riverwalk, eat some good Tex-Mex and do a little protesting! This is not nut job stuff – this is finally having enough. It’s been going on for decades, government has got to stop sucking us dry. It’s not an anti-Obama rally – it’s about all government not listening to us anymore.
Our Tax Day Tea Party is not a partisan event. However, it is a Conservative Movement and Founding Fathers Movement for fiscal responsibility, Liberty and Free enterprise.
What has been happening the past 8 months is a travesty and should not be allowed to continue.
Speak Up AMERICA on April 15, 2009, and don’t stop until we get results.
As far as I know all of the tea parties are non partisan. We need to keep politics out of this and hold both the Democrats and Republicans responsible for spending out money like drunken sailors.
