Can Twitter Save an Election?

Allison Fine and Nancy Scola provide some really smart ideas about how Twitter could be a tool to protect the election and with it our democracy.

Their post in Allison’s A. Fine Blog

I think they are really onto something. Thousands of Americans volunteering, reporting problems, election day lawyers just a tweet alarm away — this could really work.

It would sure beat how its been done in the past.

A friendfeed for democracy? How many would subscribe? How many would take part?

Friendfeed for democracy, I like it!

We’re developing the proposal on the Voter Suppression Wiki (and also incorporating ideas from Liza Sabater and Myrna the Mynx). Feedback appreciated!
