The cloud will have pros and cons for enterprise users, but my hunch is that the pros will far outweigh the cons quite quickly. The common-sense measures of protecting data security, availability and quality all apply in the cloud. As long as CIOs don't think these issues have been nixed after they go-cloud, you'd hope they'll be OK. Security, reliability and scalability are all relative values, not absolutes.
